Prior to and while attending law school, worked at Chrysler Corporation in its Labor Relations Department.
In 1978, was part of group that founded Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. (CART). Served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and General Counsel from 1980 to 1989 during which CART recongnized unprecedented growth.
Has served as chief national labor relations counsel for Mitsubishi Motors since 1988.
Widely recognized as one of the best labor lawyers in the country.
