Justine G. Cuccia has been practicing Immigration Law since graduating the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University, Washington D.C. in May, 1987. She was admitted and qualified as an Attorney & Counsellor of the Supreme Court of the United States of America on June 13, 1994.
Ms. Cuccia comes from a family dedicated to representing immigrants. Her grandfather, Edward J. Ferro, was an Immigration Inspector who assisted in the formation of the Executive Office for Immigration Review prior to his retirement from government service.
Her parents, Joseph F. Cuccia, Esquire and Josephine Ferro, Esquire, founded the firm, Ferro & Cuccia, in the late 1940's and practiced Immigration Law together until Mr. Cuccia's demise in 1983. Ms. Ferro, now semi-retired, is Of-counsel to Ms. Cuccia. Ms. Cuccia's brother, Edward, is also an Immigration Attorney, specializing in Naturalization.
Since 1996, Ms. Cuccia has focused in the areas of Asylum, Deportation, Litigation and Family Immigration. Ms. Cuccia's office provides translation services in the Mandarin and Cantonese dialects. She is especially experienced with asylum claims from the People's Republic of China and has a high success rate. In response to the nursing shortage in the United States, Ms. Cuccia's office has successfully represented immigrating Registered Nurses as well as health care facilities.
Ms. Cuccia is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
