Admitted to the bar in 1978, Attorney Stephen Fournier has maintained a diverse law practice, representing criminal defendants, civil litigants, decedent’s estates, and parties to real estate transactions, among others. His first appointment was as Lecturer in Law in the criminal clinic of the University of Connecticut School of Law, followed by an assignment as attorney to the Tax Collector of the City of Hartford. He spent many years as a legal editor for Business & Legal Reports, Inc., with specialties in employment law and environmental law. He maintained a general practice until 2009. He was the Green Party and Independent Party candidate for attorney general in 2010. He now confines his practice to trial work as co-counsel to Attorney Jeanette Chambers, representing employees aggrieved by misconduct in the workplace
