Foster, Joseph H.

JAMES A. CROCKER earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Valley State University in 2006. Jim graduated (cum laude) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association as well as the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Prior to joining Bleakley, Cypher, Parent, Warren and Quinn, Jim worked with another area workers' compensation firm practicing workers' compensation law exclusively. He also interned with Magistrate Judge Ellen Carmody at the Federal District Court of Western Michigan. While with Judge Carmody, Jim assisted in the development of modern case law by drafting Reports and Recommendations.

Throughout law school Jim was an active member of the Cooley Volunteer Corp., providing free legal assistance to underprivileged individuals in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area. He has also volunteered with the Hispanic Center of West Michigan and HEDS Up Los Niños, a non-profit organization assisting individuals in Guatemala.

Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Kate and two young daughters, Leah and Raegan. He also enjoys golfing.
