Ms. Forchetti is a trial attorney who joined the Ansa Assuncao team after serving for twelve years with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted major felonies. She tried more cases to verdict, obtained more convictions, and secured longer periods of incarceration at sentencing than any other Assistant Distrct Attorney in her division. Prior to starting at the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Forchetti clerked for the Honorable Emanuel A. Bertin in the Court of Common Pleas in Montgomery County.
Ms. Forchetti graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1998. While in law school, she was elected Secretary of the Student Bar Association and served as a member of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review and the Student Public Interest Network.
Before law school, Ms. Forchetti spent four years in Happy Valley, at Penn State University Park, where she obtained a degree in English with a minor in Political Science. In addition to playing on several intramural sports teams, she was an Executive Member of Gamma Sigma Sigma Service Sorority and served as Building President in the East Halls Residence Association.
Recently, in addition to her trial responsibilities, Ms. Forchetti has volunteered to serve as a judge in mock trial competitions and an assistant coach for youth soccer.
