Foodman, Marc D.

Ms. Phillips is originally from San Francisco. She found a warmer climate for her undergraduate and law school studies in Southern California. In 2007, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chapman University, with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Ms. Phillips graduated from Chapman University School of Law with her juris doctorate degree in 2010, having serving on the Law Review as staff editor. She held the position of Senior Symposium Editor during her senior year.

Her law school achievements are many. Ms. Phillips authored the article, "Drug War Madness: A Call for Consistency Amidst the Conflict" which was published in the Fall 2010 issue of the Chapman Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Phillips worked as an Academic Fellow for a faculty professor in Legal Research and Writing during her second and third years, taught a course in Legal Writing and served as a Chapman Student Ambassador. She was the peer-selected commencement speaker for her graduating class and was honored with induction to the National Order of Scribes.

Ms. Phillips will be very active in research and writing for the firm and assisting in trial work involving the real property and mobile home park practice areas of the firm. She can be reached at kcp@dowdalllaw.net.
