Stephen began his legal carreer as Assistant State’s Attorney for the County of Cook. It was there that he gained invaluable courtroom experience that would lay the foundation for his legal career as a plaintiff's trial attorney. Then, in 1978, after serving the State's Attorney's Office with distinction, he ventured out to form his own practice with the mission of serving injured persons in the Chicagoland area.
Since that time, for nearly 35 years, Stephen has dedicated his career to helping injured people obtain fair and just compensation for injuries and other damages caused by the negligence or wrongful conduct of others. Mr. Fiorentino has focused on helping those injured in automobile accidents, injured on the job, construction neglience and wrongful death matters. Over the course of his career, Mr. Fiorentino has recovered more than $100 million for people injured by by careless driving, property owner negligence, construction negligence and by other types of negligence as well. He has always been drawn to the service of his community. Mr Fiorentino has served as Chariman of the Camboni Missionaries and Co-Founder of Spirit of Daniel Camboni Award. He has also served as both past President and Chairman of the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans and was the co-founder of the Joseph Cardinal Bernadin Humanitarian Award. Steve is proud to practice law with his son, Michael, since 2006.
