Robert Perez has a domestic and international business transactions practice focusing on direct and structured investments and financing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. His primary concentration is on investments in private equity funds and hedge funds (including fund of funds), venture capital funds, leveraged buyout funds, special situation funds and alternative, economically targeted and real estate investments and investments in open-ended, commingled funds and accounts as well as strategic partnerships for both public and private institutional investors. He also counsels organizations of various types and sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to non-profit/tax-exempt entities with respect to general corporate, business and other legal matters on an on-going basis, with respect to their organization, capitalization, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, licensing, marketing, liability, investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
