Kenneth O. Corley focuses his practice on litigation, with an eye toward proactively and efficiently achieving client objectives in a productive and valuable manner. Mr. Corley concentrates his services on environmental litigation, business commercial litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution. He is currently a part of a team serving as Special Counsel to the State of New Jersey in pursuing natural resource assessment costs and damages, remediation costs, and other damages associated with the contamination of the Passaic River and Newark Bay Complex. In addition to his current focus on environmental litigation, his experience encompasses actions involving complex contract disputes, oil and gas related litigation, negligence, personal injury, fraud, securities fraud, partnership disputes, director and officer liability, corporate governance, antitrust, real estate and construction cases.
Mr. Corley lives in Houston with his wife Candice and three children, Ashlyn, Lenna and Callen. The Corley Family enjoys spending time together experiencing the outdoors.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Mr. Corley has been licensed in the State of Texas and the State of Arizona since 2005 and is admitted to practice in federal courts in both states. Mr. Corley has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Rising Star since 2010.
He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the South Texas Law Review and was recognized with the Dean’s Outstanding Student Advocate Award. In 2003, Mr. Corley won the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition as well as the American College of Trial Lawyers National Moot Court Competition, where he was named Best Advocate. Mr. Corley has served as an intern at Houston’s First Court of Appeals and Phoenix Municipal Court.
Mr. Corley received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona in 1998, where he was a four-year letterman in baseball, three-time Academic All-America and All PAC-10 honorable mention. Mr. Corley was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in 1998.
Before joining Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs, PC, Mr. Corley practiced at Thompson & Knight, LLP for five years.
