Kevin joined the Firm in 1980 as a partner, and has headed the firm's significant and growing litigation department since that time.

For 30 years Kevin has engaged in a broad-based civil litigation practice, handling cases from intake through full appellate practice before the highest courts in New York State and the federal court system. These cases have included major and precedent-setting litigation in the fields of: general contract and commercial claims, health care, trademark, civil rights, Freedom of Information entitlements, employment discrimination, securities and consumer fraud, tax, banking, education and construction.

Kevin also provides general regulatory, risk management and corporate counseling to clients in health care (e.g., long-term care facilities, provider practice groups, an ambulatory care center, and a Medicaid managed care IPA), and construction (owners, general contractors, and subcontractors), and to religious corporations.

Kevin graduated cum laude from Colby College (Waterville, ME) in 1975, with Distinction in both Government and American Studies, and from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, D.C.) in 1978, magna cum laude. Refusing to succumb to "Potomac Fever," he returned to his native Rochester (Fairport High School, Class of 1971) to establish a litigation practice in his hometown.

Kevin is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations, and the Christian Legal Society. His community service commitments have included more than 20 years as president of Rochester Family Mission (an inner-city relief organization) and extended service as a trustee of Allendale Columbia School, where he now serves as Board Chair.
