Sally A. Comin has been practicing labor and employment law since 194. She began her career at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office where she represented Cook County before federal and state courts and administrative agencies on a wide variety of labor and employment issues, including, among other things, union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, grievance arbitrations and charges of employment discrimination
After leaving the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, Ms. Comin's practice focused on representing and counseling small to mid-sized businesses, as well as international corporations, on a full-range of employment related issues, including breach of contract, discrimination and wrongful termination. She also advised and assisted clients in avoiding legal exposure whenever necessary by developing practical and immediate solutions for specific workplace situations, such as harassment, privacy, violence, drug-testing, and electronic communication and access
In addition to drafting employment, separation, settlement and non-compete agreements, Ms. Comin developed, reviewed and revised employee handbooks, manuals, policies and other employee communications. Ms. Comin also conducted employment discrimination investigations and lectured and conducted workshops on a wide variety of employment related topics, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, volunteerism, wage and hour laws, employment discrimination and management skills for groups such as the American Medical Association and ADP.
Since beginning her own practice in 2005, Ms. Comin has represented both small and mid-sized businesses, as well as individuals, in all areas of employment law. Her practice comprises a broad range of counseling, litigation and consulting services

Ms. Comin is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Social Work degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Comin was a medical social worker at Loyola University Medical Center.
