Nichole Ashley Collins attended college at the University of Wisconsin and graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) with a B.S. in Psychology, a minor in Criminal Justice and a Pre-law emphasis.During her college years, Nichole participated in the Golden Key International Honors society.

Having decided at age 8 that she wanted to be a lawyer, Nichole moved to Pennsylvania in 2006 and attended Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg where she obtained her J.D. in 2009.While in law school, Nichole interned at the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic providing free legal work to indigent clients in the Harrisburg area.Nichole was also a member of the VITA (volunteer income tax assistance) program.

Upon graduation, Nichole externed at the Department of State, Bureau of Professional and Occupational affairs (BPOA), Counsel Division.Nichole worked with many of the professionally licensed boards including: Nursing, Medical, Real Estate, Pharmacy, Psychiatry, and Veterinary - where she gained invaluable experience and an inside perspective as to what happens when a licensed professional gets into criminal trouble.

After mastering administrative law, Nichole accepted a position at the Pennsylvania Senate where she worked as Legislative Counsel to State Senator Anthony H. Williams. Nichole had the unique opportunity to take part in drafting, interpreting, and promoting legislation in the Commonwealth.

Nichole, our youngest attorney, started with Scaringi & Scaringi, P.C in 2010. Since then she has worked on hundreds of cases primarily in the areas of Criminal Defense, Family law, and Professional Affairs/Licensing. Nichole's areas of expertise include: DUI's, Firearms offenses, Drugs, Assaults, Sexual Assaults, Thefts, Receiving Stolen Property, ICC's, PFA's, Civil and Criminal Forfeiture, Bankruptcy, Divorce, Support and Custody. Nichole is the go-to attorney for Children's Fast Track Custody Appeals. Always on the move, Nichole is based in our Newport, Perry Couty Office and covers cases in the following counties: Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, York, Snyder, Northumberland, Centre, Clearfield, and in the Federal Middle District.
