Eileen Parsons, born in Jacksonville, Florida, is a 1982 graduate with honors from the University of Denver and a 1988 cum laude graduate of the University of Miami Law School, where she was a member and Associate Notes Editor of the University of Miami Law Review as well as the Order of the Coif. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Courts, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Ms. Parsons is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She concentrates her practice on health care litigation, managed care litigation, health, life and disability insurance, professional liability, and directors and officers insurance actions. Ms. Parsons also negotiates insurance policies for her clients. Her strong commercial litigation background, with particular emphasis in antitrust, RICO and fraud claims, complements her health care, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation practice. Ms. Parsons is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association. She is a former Chair of the Federal Court Practice Committee of the Florida Bar, and presently serves as a member of the Florida Bar's Committee on Professionalism. Ms. Parsons also serves as Co-Chair of the Health, Life and Disability Sub-Committee of the ABA's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the Section of Litigation. She also has served as both District Legal Counsel and Deputy District Administrator for the Florida Department of Children & Families.
