Frederick M. Brehm received his law degree from Temple School of Law in 1996. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Technology from Temple University in 1986 and a Master of Management from Penn State University in 1992.
Before joining Powell Trachtman, Mr. Brehm worked as a civil engineer manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Serving as the resident engineer on complex highway and bridge construction projects, Mr. Brehm's responsibilities included project scheduling, contract administration, and construction inspection. A number of his projects have been recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Concrete Institute, and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
In 2000, Mr. Brehm assumed the position of Assistant Construction Engineer managing all new bridge and highway construction in Delaware County and parts of Philadelphia. In addition, he participated in the contract preparation and bidding process, coordinated private development efforts, and administered engineering consultant services. Most recently, Philadelphia's Waterfront Business Association presented Mr. Brehm with their Community Service Award for his public service achievements.
Mr. Brehm's practice focuses on the representation of design professionals in the design and construction industry, and the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts and contracts for design professional services. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
