Jordan Faux brings proven excellence and exceptional experience to the firm. Prior to joining Faux Law Group, Jordan completed a clerkship for Magistrate Judge Robert J. Johnston at the United States District Court, District of Nevada. There, he gained invaluable litigation practice, with an emphasis in pretrial and procedural aspects of the court system. Previously, he also worked as a law clerk at the International Trade Commission, Office of Unfair Import Investigations in Washington, D.C., where he provided important legal research and assisted in drafting pre- and post-litigation pleadings.
While a student at the George Washington University Law School, Jordan served as problem coauthor for the 2010 National Religious Freedom Moot Court Competition. His problem was studied by students from more than a dozen law schools and was argued before Ninth Circuit Judge Milan Smith and D.C. Circuit Judge Janice Rogers Brown. A gifted writer and articulate speaker, Jordan won Best Overall Competitor during an internal competition and represented GW at the 2010 Giles Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition in Boston, MA. He also served as an intern for Judge Lynn W. Davis of the Utah State 4th District Court, gaining practical insights into court proceedings and training in analyzing and evaluating legal arguments.
Jordan is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His practice focuses on litigation, especially in the fields of property management, surety, collections, and business law. His training in both law and science allows him to analyze and approach problems from multiple points of view. Being half-Filipino who also speaks Spanish, mixing and melding ideas and cultures is nothing new to Jordan, and his unique combination of skills and background enables him to find the best possible results for his clients.
Jordan is dedicated to providing high quality service and strives for excellence in all he pursues. Among other passions, Jordan is also an accomplished jazz guitarist and musician. An eclectic and talented individual, Jordan continues to enjoy learning and loves to spend time with his wife, Rose, playing the guitar, accordion, painting, reading and eating great food.
