Ms. Esham graduated magna cum laude from Jones School of Law in August, 1996. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Esham was a registered nurse and worked primarily in the intensive care unit. She also has experience in medical and hospital quality assurance, utilization review, and case management. Ms. Esham received a R.N. degree from Providence School of Nursing in 1985, a B.S.N. from the University of South Alabama in 1990, and a M.S.N. in Adult Health Nursing and Nursing Administration from the University of South Alabama in 1992. Ms. Esham's law practice focuses on medical and pharmacy malpractice defense and she has tried several jury cases to verdict. In addition, she represents physicians, nurses, counselors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers in disciplinary and practice matters before the state professional governing Boards of practice. Ms. Esham also lectures and provides seminars to various health care providers regarding liability issues in health care. Her publications include Legal, Ethical, and Political Issues in Nursing.
