Ellis, John

Laura Chubb is an associate in the firm's litigation department. Her practice includes patent, trademark, trade secret and related licensing litigation. Laura is also a member of the firm's Biotechnology & Life Sciences group where her practice includes patent and intellectual property licensing, and disputes related to such agreements.

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Laura was an associate at a Chicago-based intellectual property and FDA boutique where her practice focused on patent and trademark litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, and FDA regulatory advice. She has advised on developing, enforcing and maintaining patent and trademark rights in the U.S. and internationally including preparing opinion of counsel letters and advising on availability, patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement.

Laura received her B.A. in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University and received her J.D. cum laude from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis where she was the Executive Production Editor of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review.

Laura is admitted to practice in New York, Illinois, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
