Jay Einerson is a Patent Attorney and a member of Michael Best's Intellectual Property Practice Group and the Electrical and Computer subgroup. His practice focuses generally on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on electrical and computer related patents in the United States and internationally including Europe, Canada, Mexico, and China. He writes and prosecutes patents to protect the intellectual property of Fortune 500 corporations, emerging companies and universities across a broad spectrum of complex technology and business issues. Using his broad experience, Mr. Einerson works closely with inventors to define key elements of their inventions, and using thorough prior art searching, creates patents that provide broad protection for those inventions. Mr. Einerson also proactively assists clients in developing products that do not infringe the patents of others, and ensuring existing products are not at risk of infringing existing patents.
