A. Andrew O'Beidy, Senior Partner at Brody & O'Beidy, P. A., heads the Labor and Employment Law Division of the firm. Mr. O'Beidy's employment practice extends to claims dealing with Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Overtime, Employment Contracts Negotiation/Enforcement, Tort Claims and Labor Disputes. Mr. O'Beidy has lectured on these various Labor and Employment topics throughout his career.

Mr. O'Beidy served as a member of Florida National Employment Lawyer's Association's (Florida NELA) Board of Director. Mr. O'Beidy continues to be an active member of Florida NELA as well as an active member of the National Employment Lawyer's Association. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regularly refers cases to Mr. O'Beidy.

Mr. O'Beidy attended the University of Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Thereafter, Mr. O'Beidy attended Howard University School of Law in our nation's capital. Upon completion of his studies, Mr. O'Beidy returned to Canada to serve in Her Majesty's Royal Canadian Air Force. After receiving his Commission, Mr. O'Beidy trained as a pilot and flew various fixed wing aircraft. When he was not in flight training, Mr. O'Beidy worked with the Judge Advocate General's Office.

After retiring with distinction from the military, Mr. O'Beidy returned to California to practice law. Mr. O'Beidy spent four (4) years developing and heading the Employment Law Department at Awad & Awad, LLP. Mr. O'Beidy came to south Florida in October 2003 to establish Brody, O'Beidy & Marcellus P. A.
