In 2012, Tobin R. Dunn will celebrate 20 years of practicing law.  Her law practice has focused primarily in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Probate.  She also practices in the area of Social Security Disability, Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury. 

Tobin is married to Scott Dunn, a Social Worker with Boys and Girls Town of Missouri.  She has two stepsons and enjoys attending their basketball and baseball games.  As a stepmother, Tobin knows the challenges and blessings that come with a blended family.  She also knows the special estate planning needs that may be associated with both the traditional and blended family.

As an estate planning attorney, Tobin’s goal is that your property goes to “who you want, the way you want and when you want.”  She also will help you plan for the unexpected, such as, terminable illness, loss of capacity and sudden death.  Her primary objective is to empower you with enough information to choose the estate planning vehicle that meets your family’s needs and particular situation.

Family comes first to Tobin, regardless if it is her family or the families she represents.  As a trained mediator, Tobin is effective in helping families reach a mutual agreement that works best for them and their children.  If compromise is not possible, Tobin is an experienced trial attorney who knows how to present your case to the court in a light most favorable to your position.
