David's areas of specialization include major personal injury, wrongful death, serious motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, construction site accidents, product liability, premises liability, child sexual abuse, and employment actions involving discrimination, sexual harassment, or wrongful termination.

In 2012, David continued to win high-profile and precedent-setting cases on behalf of children, including a $4.5 million verdict in a molestation case against a San Diego school district; a $3 million settlement in a sexual assault case against a Riverside school district; and a $1.350 million settlement for a boy who was seriously bullied by other students at a Los Angeles middle school.  Also, David appeared on Fox News as a commentator on the Miramonte teacher-sex scandal case.

David has successfully handled many other types of cases.  Some of his verdicts and settlements include: an $18.6 million jury verdict on behalf of an injured motorcycle rider; a $10.8 million jury verdict on behalf of a boy who was sexually abused by his teacher; a $4.5 million verdict on behalf of two girls molested by their third grade teacher;  a $4.3 million settlement on behalf of a man who suffered brain damage after being hit by a vehicle; a $3 million settlement for a special needs student who was sexually assaulted by another student at school; a $2.1 million settlement on behalf of a teenage girl who was seduced into a year-long relationship with her coach; a $1.8 million verdict on behalf of a sales executive who was terminated because of his age; a $1.350 million settlement on behalf of a boy who was bullied at his school; and a $6.8 million settlement on behalf of six boys who were sexually abused by their fourth grade teacher.

David has been on the Board of Governors of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) since 2005,and is an active member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). He is a frequent speaker at CAALA's annual lawyer convention and previously served as one of the convention's co-chairs.

David serves on CAALA's Executive Committee, currently as its second vice president. He will continue to be elevated to a higher position each year and will become CAALA's President in 2016. CAALA's membership is compromised of over 2000 plaintiff attorneys in Southern California.

CAALA nominated David for its "Trial Lawyer of the Year" award in 2007, 2009, and again in 2012.

David graduated "cum laude" from USC in 1987 and "Order of the Coif" (top 10% of his class) from USC Law School in 1990. He has practiced personal injury law in Los Angeles since 1991 and joined forces with John C. Taylor in 2002 to form Taylor & Ring.
