Duffee, Robert T.

Delia Druley grew up in Doland, South Dakota. She attended college at the University of South Dakota, graduating magna cum laude as a University Scholar with degrees in political science and Spanish. While at USD, she was chosen to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa, won a Farber Fund senior writing award, and her senior honors thesis was designated as a Thesis with Highest Distinction, an honor reserved for the best papers produced by graduating honors students.

In 2010, Delia graduated near the top of her class, with Sterling Honors, from the University of South Dakota School of Law. During her second year of law school, Delia and her partners advanced to the semi-final round of the John J. Gibbons Criminal Law Moot Court Tournament, a national competition, and were awarded third place brief. In addition, Delia served as President of the Moot Court Board and was published in the South Dakota Law Review.

Prior to joining Johnson, Heidepriem, & Abdallah, Delia clerked for the Hon. Karen E. Schreier, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota. As a result, Delia is well versed in federal practice and procedure, particularly civil rights litigation and federal habeas corpus.

In her spare time, Delia enjoys spending time with her husband Luke and their pets.
