Jeremy Dresner is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, a member of the Business Trial Group and a member of the Investigations and Criminal Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2006. 

Practice

Mr. Dresner has a general litigation background with experience in trial-level and appellate litigation, internal corporate investigations, and preparing clients to appear before Congress. His practice focuses on representing clients in civil litigation before state and federal courts, and he recently represented a prisoner in a successful civil rights appeal before the Eleventh Circuit.

Recent Highlights

• Presenting oral argument in a successful Eleventh Circuit appeal involving claims of excessive bail and due process violations
• Representing clients in inquiries by the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform  
• Representing a major commercial real estate developer in a state court dispute concerning ownership of a multi-million dollar mall complex
• Assisting in the representation of a corporation in a significant criminal investigation by federal regulators and prosecutors.

Background

Prior to beginning his legal studies, Mr. Dresner was a political consultant for Dresner, Wickers & Associates, where he designed, planned and implemented political advertising programs and advised a variety of clients across the country, including candidates for governor and the United States Senate.
