Dresner, Jeremy

I was born, raised and educated in Indiana. I made Indianapolis my home in 2002 when I moved here to attend law school at the Indiana University School of Law. On the day I passed the bar, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office hired me to be a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

I spent seven years as a Deputy Prosecutor litigating and trying hundreds of cases. They ranged from misdemeanor drunk driving and possession of marijuana cases to murder cases.

For years I tried only sex crimes(child molest, rape, sexual assault etc.) and severe child abuse cases. I was trained to interview children who had made allegations of physical and sexual abuse. I have presented expert medical testimony in trial and cross-examined medical experts when they took the stand for the defense. I have also worked closely with DNA experts to understand how that type of evidence effects a sex crimes case.
