Steve Goldman is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation practice group and practices in firm's D. C. Regional office in McLean. Steve's practice focuses on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance coverage. Steve is a former editor of Coverage, the publication of the Insurance Coverage Section of the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Litigation Section of the ABA and has been selected to participate as a panelist at the Section's 2009 Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
Steve is also a Professor and Distinguished Lecturer in Law at the Catholic University of America Law School where he teaches Corporations, Professional Responsibility and the Law of Lawyering, Civil Procedure, Advance Civil Procedure (Pre-Trial Practice), Conflicts of Law, and Business and Ethics. He serves as Director of the Part-Time Faculty for the school.
Steve is the author of Temptations in the Office: Ethical Choices and Legal Obligations, published by Greenwood/Praeger in the Spring of 2008 and the co-author of "Restoring Trust in Corporate Directors: The Disney Standard and New Good Faith" published in the American University Law Review in December 2006. With Danny Howell, he teaches CLE sessions on legal ethics and malpractice coverage for Bar Associations and published "Surviving Allegations of Professional Misconduct" in the Washington Lawyer issue of October 2004.
In addition to his legal background, Steve has managed and owned businesses in the electrical supply industry and management consulting. He is a speaker on legal ethics and civil litigation procedures for legal and other professional audiences.
