Boyce N. Richardson joined Edgar Law Firm as a senior associate in the Fall of 2012. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with developed expertise in construction contract disputes, construction defect claims, class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the representation of development stage business entities. In addition to the daily management and oversight of individual matters, Boyce has notable experience in trial presentation, expert and fact witness depositions, complex motions practice and oral argument of dispositive and other motions.

Prior to joining Edgar Law Firm, Boyce practiced with defense firms in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Kansas City, Missouri where he developed high-level fluency in an array of legal practice areas including medical malpractice insurance defense, construction litigation, commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation and interstate motor carrier tort litigation.

Outside of his legal practice, Boyce is intimately involved with a number of Kansas City area community and charitable organizations including acting as the Treasurer and Social Chair of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City - Young Lawyers Section, an ambassador for the Nelson-Atkins Young Friends of Art, the Social Chair for the Hope House Young Professionals and a season ticket holder within the Cauldron at Sporting Kansas City matches. Presently, Mr. Richardson also acts as pro bono counsel for Streetcar Neighbors, the Downtown Neighborhood Association and the River Market Community Association in their pursuit of the implementation of a modern streetcar in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
