Dougherty, John P.

Lori Douglas is Of Counsel at Barrett & Farahany, LLP and is a member of the firm's Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group.

Prior to joining Barrett & Farahany, LLP, Lori spent 10 years as in-house corporate counsel with a large retailer. During her time as corporate counsel, Lori provided advice to management in all areas of employment law including discrimination and harassment investigations and legal compliance in the areas of business ethics and employment law. She also managed litigation and directed out-side counsel with a goal towards early case assessment and resolution.

In addition to Lori's experience serving as corporate counsel, she brings a total of 14 years employment law experience having a proven track record in alternative dispute resolution and pre-trial litigation.

Lori holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law where she graduated Cum laude. During her tenure at Georgia State University, she served as Legislation Editor for the school's law journal and worked as a research assistant.

Lori is married to Charlie Douglas who is a Wealth Manager, published author and frequent public speaker. They reside in Johns Creek Georgia with their daughter Elizabeth and a house full of pets. Lori loves being a mom and being involved in Elizabeth's school and extra-curricular activities.
