Michael was voted one of Chicago's top 40 lawyers under 40 in a survey of lawyers conducted by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin in Spring 2006.

Michael Gill has worked with Bruce Pfaff since graduating from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1997. Michael worked as an associate at Bruce R. Pfaff & Associates, Ltd., for 5 years. In January of 2003, Bruce and Michael formed a partnership and the firm name was changed to Pfaff & Gill, Ltd. Although the name has changed, the firm's dedication to representing individuals in their conflicts with big business and insurance companies has not.

Michael spends 100% of his professional time as a trial lawyer representing individuals seriously hurt, injured or killed as a result of the negligence of others. He represents the victims of medical malpractice, defective products, construction negligence, auto collisions and other unsafe or dangerous conditions. His work's focus is to hold corporations and insurance companies accountable for negligent conduct that harms others. Michael has tried cases in both Federal and State courts in Illinois.

In 2004, Michael was selected by his peers as a member of the Leading Lawyers Network. The Leading Lawyers Network selects less than 5% of Illinois attorneys for membership. Michael was selected for both general personal injury and medical negligence cases. Michael was also selected by the Chicago Bar Association Referral Service as qualified to receive both general personal injury and medical negligence case referrals.

Michael was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he attended Cathedral High School. In 1994, he graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Michael made Chicago his home in 1994.
