Dhillon, Steven

J. Robert (Bob) Gericke received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from San Diego State and a master of arts degree in correctional counseling from chapman college. He attended citrus belt law school (now renamed California southern law school) where he received the degrees Bachelor of Science (law) and juris doctor.

Mr. Gericke has practiced criminal law since 1982. Before becoming a lawyer he was a Probation Officer with San Bernardino County for 10 years and Alameda County for 4 years. His experience includes over 20 years with the Public Defender’s Office where attained the position of Supervising Deputy. In that role Mr. Gericke was responsible for the work of 12 lawyers in 6 courts.

Attorney Gericke also had a distinguished military career. He served on active duty in Viet Nam with the 75th Infantry (Rangers) and followed that with over 30 years as a member of the California National Guard and the Army Reserve. Attorney Gericke retired from the Army in 2005 with the rank of Colonel.
