JASON is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, WV growing up in the Warwood area and graduating from Wheeling Park High School. Jason went on to receive his bachelor's degree from West Virginia University, majoring in accounting and graduating with honors. From West Virginia University, Jason attended Clemson University and received his master of professional accountancy degree, graduating with a perfect 4.0 average and winning the prestigious 1999 Federation of Schools of Accountancy Award. At Clemson University, Jason, a graduate assistant, worked side by side with professors of accountancy and assisted in teaching undergraduate classes and was responsible for maintaining the school of accountancy's website. Upon graduating from Clemson University, Jason began working for the global accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick in its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.
However, after nearly a year of working as an auditor in the firm's manufacturing sector, Jason decided to return to West Virginia University to attend law school at its College of Law. During law school, Jason was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships and was a member of the West Virginia University Law Review and served as the issue editor for Issue 2 of the 2002-2003 edition of the law review. Jason graduated in the top 5 of his class from the College of Law in May 2003, as member of the distinguished Order of the Coif . Jason is licensed to practice law in West Virginia and plans to attain a license to practice law in Ohio. Jason is very eager to assist area residents of both states in their efforts to achieve just results.
Jason currently works on Bordas & Bordas toxic tort cases as well as product liability, employee injury cases, wrongful discharge, class actions, stockbroker negligence and lender liability matters.
