Born in the Midwest. Raised by working class people who instilled traditional values of hard work and economy. USMC from 1969 to 1971. Republic of South Vietnam 1970 to 1971; artillery Battalion. Graduated from Indiana State University, Evansville in 1974. Masters Program in Public Administration at California State University, Fullerton from 1974 to 1976. Law School at Pepperdine University from 1976 to 1979. Became a member of the California State Bar May 1980. Worked as an insurance defense attorney from May 1980 to October 2005. During this same period I also had developed a continuing practice involving family law, criminal law and immigration law. Have practiced in all Southern California Counties. Member of local bar associations. Married for 33 years; three children; three grandchildren. Enjoy reading, political studies, outdoor activities. Private pilot since 1972.
