DeSanto, Jeanne

Roel Garcia joined the Houston office of Newton, Jones & Spaeth in 2011. As an associate, he has handled litigation across a variety of practice areas including: construction, personal injury, contract disputes, medical malpractice, deceptive trade practices, shareholders oppression, and homeowners association disputes.

While attending the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, TX, Roel was a member of the interscholastic mock trial team and competed in the AAJ Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.

Before joining Newton, Jones & Spaeth, Roel was a program coordinator for the non-profit Academic Consulting Services in Dallas, TX. The program focused on assisting urban inner-city high school students apply and gain admission to top academic institutions across the country.

Roel enjoys reading, backpack travel, boxing, running, and community involvement.
