Heidi is a partner in our Plattsburgh office and is active in the practice of estate planning and administration, family law, matrimonial, immigration, and real estate law. She is a panel member of the New York State Surrogate Decision Making Committee and is also a contributing writer to On The Case, a New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) publication. Heidi also participates in the annual Decision Making Day program of the Elder Law Section of NYSBA, presenting on topics such as the preparation of wills, living wills, health care proxys, and powers of attorney.
An active member of the local community, Heidi serves on the Attorney for the Child Panel for Clinton County, and she is on the Board of Trustees for the Clinton County Historical Association and the Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country. Heidi is also past President of the Clinton County Bar Association.
While in law school, she was a founding member of the Environmental Outlook, a journal dedicated to land use, zoning, and environmental issues. She also worked at the New York State Bill Drafting Commission as a Legal Aide for Head Counsel to the Commission, and she clerked for New York Supreme Court Justice Joseph Teresi.
