Mr. Gavigan is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an Article Editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Gavigan practiced with the firm of Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler LLP, where he focused on corporate law and corporate finance. He has significant experience in the areas of domestic and international secured and unsecured loan financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, venture capital investments, private placements, and negotiation of complex commercial arrangements and alliances. Mr. Gavigan spent more than a decade working in the oil and gas business in the Middle East, North Africa, the Asia-Pacific Region, and South America in various petroleum engineering and management positions.
