Gillian Garrett focuses her practice on business litigation. She has experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including business torts, fraud, products liability, federal and state securities matters, contract disputes, real estate litigation, and employment litigation. This includes extensive law and motion and trial experience. Gillian has second-chaired two commercial litigation trials, and she has served as the senior associate in a three-month criminal securities litigation trial.
Gillian also has developed a strong proficiency in legal ethics and constitutional law, focusing on the First and Fourth Amendments. Gillian regularly litigates in state and federal court, and she advises on regulatory and administrative issues as well.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Gillian was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles, California.
