Alison Dearden is a solo practitioner and is of counsel to Backstrom & Heinrichs.  She practices primarily employment law including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, disability, and class action.

Alison graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law in 2008.  During law school, she received three Academic Achievement awards and five Dean’s Merit Scholarship awards.  Alison also received the Pro bono Honors Society award and was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation throughout law school.

Alison is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the District Court for the Southern District of California, and the District Court for the Northern District of California.  She is a member of the California Bar Labor and Employment Law Section and the San Diego County Bar Association.

Alison is committed to sustained pro bono legal services in the community.  She is an active member of San Diego’s Professional Alliance for Children whose mission is to better the lives of ill children.
