He has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, lenders, and other interested parties in complex business restructuring and bankruptcy matters.

Dan's chapter 11 debtor representations include: FLYi/Independence Air, Hereford Biofuels, Kaiser Aluminum, NationsRent, PLVTZ LLC, Slater Steel, and USG Corporation. Dan represents or has represented major creditors, bidders, or other key parties in interest in the chapter 11 cases of Flying J, Mirant, NetVersant, Noble, Red Shield, SemCrude, Sonoran Energy, and Zohar Waterworks.

Dan was selected as a "Texas Rising Star" by Law & Politics in 2009 and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
