Kim was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and has lived in the Philadelphia area for most of her life. After graduating from college, she had a fourteen year career serving as a licensed sales representative and manager for a suburban Philadelphia State Farm Insurance agency. Kim gained extensive policy coverage and claim experience in both personal and commercial lines, specializing in homeowners and condominium association insurance. During this time, she also attended the evening program at Temple Law School. She was a summer associate at White and Williams LLP in 1998 and subsequently became a full-time law clerk. Upon graduation from law school, Kim remained at White and Williams as an associate attorney for over eleven years.
Kim focuses her practice on defending medical malpractice and premises liability actions, including representing hospitals, physicians and nurses in the defense of professional liability claims. She has extensive experience in litigating complex medical malpractice cases, involving catastrophic injuries. Additionally, Kim has successfully resolved litigation against leading hospitals, universities and commercial developers in general liability matters at mediation and arbitration.
Kim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 1999, Kim graduated from the Temple University School of Law where she was on dean’s list. She was further recognized for her outstanding oral advocacy and best paper submissions in the trial advocacy and legal writing programs.
Kim is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is admitted to practice before the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
