Robert R. Fuggi, Jr. and the Fuggi Law Firm have been involved in numerous high profile cases that have received national attention. Robert R. Fuggi Jr., was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He relocated to Toms River, New Jersey, in the early 1970s and attended Toms River High School South, then graduated fromToms River High School East.
He attended Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, where he studied politics and pre-law. He then attended Regent University School of Law, Virginia Beach, Virginia were he received his Juris Doctorate in 1992. His areas of concentration in law school were trial practice and advocacy.
Mr. Fuggi was elected vice president of the Student Bar Association by his peers at Regent University School of Law.
Mr. Fuggi worked in the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, Toms River, New Jersey, in 1990-1991 as a clerk. He then obtained a position in the law firm of Shea & Novy as a trial attorney, handling all Workers' Compensation claims for the Joint Insurance Fund, an organization that defends all claims brought against municipal entities for injuries that have occurred on the job.
Mr. Fuggi then moved to a major litigation firm and continued to litigate cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs. He was successful in handling hundreds of contested matters that consisted of Civil trials, Workers' Compensation, and Criminal defense trials.
Mr. Fuggi has practiced as a municipal prosecutor in Seaside Heights, Manchester Township, Berkeley Township, and the firm had been the acting public defender of Ocean Township, New Jersey, and Seaside Park, New Jersey in addition to his civil trial practice.
Mr. Fuggi is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney because of the significant amount of civil jury trials, complex litigation and substantial time in court with successful results.
