Daher, Matt

As a personal injury attorney, I represent people who are going through challenging times. While I focus on battling insurance companies to achieve good results for my clients, my clients can focus on recovering and receiving the medical treatment they need. I enjoy being a litigator and have experience taking cases to arbitration, mediation, and trial. It is my job to advise my clients on how to achieve the best outcome in each of their cases, and I take pride in being both realistic and compassionate in that role. I believe in building lasting relationships.

Before I came to the practice of law, I worked for many years as an educator and I have a background as a writer. The skills that I gained in those areas and through my other professional experiences come together to make me persuasive and effective in my legal work. In addition to practicing as a personal injury lawyer, I have volunteered at St. Andrew Legal Clinic in Washington County, a family law clinic. While I was in law school, I clerked for the Bonneville Power Administration. I was also a research assistant working on topics in labor and employment law and Native American law.

I have lived in Portland and worked in the area for twenty years. I speak Spanish and I am committed to helping my Spanish-speaking clients understand the legal system and their rights. I am proud to be a member of the Washington County community.
