John earned his BS in business administration from Bucknell University. He served as an officer in the US Army for three years, then returned to law school, graduating from the Dickinson School of Law in 1985. At Dickinson, John served as Articles Editor of The Dickinson Journal of International Law, John has practiced law in Franklin County for over 25 years. John practices in the areas of bankruptcy, worker's compensation, estate planning and administration, elder law, commercial transactions, business law and real estate. Born and raised in Chambersburg, John is a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church. John is an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Waynesboro, and has served on the boards of a number of local non-profit and charitable organizations, including Waynesboro Community and Human Services, Waynesboro Day Care Center, Waynesboro Industrial Development Corporation, and New Visions, Inc. John and his wife Beth, an attorney practicing in Baltimore, Maryland, have three children.
