Certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Real Estate Specialist, Ms. Fox has extensive experience working with clients in both real estate litigation and transactions. As a litigator, Ms. Fox has represented hundreds of clients in real estate and commercial disputes from pre-litigation negotiations through trial and appeal. Her litigation practice has emphasized contract disputes; non-disclosure; earnest money disputes; construction defects; construction law; escrow and title company liability; title disputes; adverse possession; easements; deed restrictions and CC&Rs; liens and encumbrances; quiet title actions; homeowner’s-association disputes; judicial and non-judicial foreclosure; commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes; subdivisions and lot splits; business disputes, dissolution, receivership and accounting; and intellectual property disputes. Ms. Fox has represented clients before the Arizona Department of Real Estate; the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (“AAR”); and the cities of Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler and Phoenix. Ms. Fox’s transactional practice has encompassed all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including real estate development, sales, construction, finance and leasing; the creation of subdivisions and condominiums; business formation, contracts and dissolution; zoning; easements; deed restrictions; and HUD compliance. As former counsel for AAR, for more than a decade Ms. Fox worked closely with Arizona REALTORS®, participating in the drafting and revision of the AAR contract forms used throughout the state, advising REALTORS® through the AAR “Legal Hotline” program, and conducting seminars. Ms. Fox is a member of the American Bar Association (Real Property Practice Section), State Bar of Arizona (Real Property Section), and Maricopa County Bar Association.
