Culp, Michael J.

Born in California and raised in Georgia, John Fox is a trial attorney who focuses on criminal defense and probate litigation. After graduating the University of Georgia in 1998, John attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. In 2001 he established his practice in Macon, Georgia, where he resides and remains committed to being an active member the community. Over the last ten years, John has practiced throughout the Middle Georgia area with the Macon law firm of Adams, Hemingway & Wilson, LLP, where he was a partner prior to forming Fox & Smith.

As a criminal defense attorney, John has extensive trial and appellate experience defending drug, firearm and numerous other crimes, in both state and federal courts. As a probate litigator, he specializes in handling high conflict, complex guardianship, trust and probate matters. John not only represents retained clients, but is often called upon by courts to represent the interests of children and vulnerable or incapacitated adults as an attorney ad litem or guardian ad litem in various probate proceedings. Less known, but no less deserved, is John's reputation as a skilled counselor and advocate for select condominium and homeowners associations in the State of Georgia.
