Jon provides legal counsel to professionals including attorneys, accountants, insurance brokers, real estate brokers and financial advisors. He defends a wide range of professional litigation matters including legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, wrongful use of civil process, abuse of process, negligence and breach of contract. Jon also defends matters involving premises liability, automobile liability, product liability, insurance bad faith and trade secrets. As an athletic coach, Jon brings unique experience to cases he has handled involving the representation of golf clubs and professional athletic organizations and players in litigation.
In 1993, Jon graduated from Lafayette College and subsequently attended Villanova School of Law where he achieved his Juris Doctorate in 1996. During his law school years, he spent the summer clerking for the Honorable Samuel Salus, II from the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and for the Chief Magistrate Judge Powers in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Following graduation from Villanova School of Law in 1996, Jon worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Albert W. Sheppard, Jr. of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Outside of his law practice Jon serves on the Executive Board of the Richie Ashburn Foundation, which raises funds to provide over sixteen free baseball camps and clinics yearly to children throughout the Philadelphia and suburban area. Furthermore, Jon works with the Foundation to raise funds to support blind and visually impaired children to play "beep" baseball. Currently, Jon also serves as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Pennsylvania and formerly he was a member of the Board of Trustees at Germantown Academy. He has also assisted in the political campaign for a current state representative in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
For the years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, Jon was selected "Super Lawyer Pennsylvania Rising Star."
