Julie is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Florida. Her practice focuses on estate planning, federal wealth transfer taxation, estate and trust administration, fiduciary income taxation, business succession planning, asset protection and probate and trust litigation.  Julie has counseled numerous individuals, families and business owners throughout her career and has created estate plans ranging from simple wills and trusts to plans utilizing highly sophisticated planning and estate tax planning techniques.  Julie is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Before joining Ziegler Metzger, Julie earned an LL.M. in Taxation at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2005 and earned her J.D. Degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1998. Julie earned her J.D. degree attending evening classes while working as a legal assistant to her father, Henry B. Fischer, and also working as an assistant prosecutor for the City of Euclid under an Ohio Supreme Court internship. Julie continued working with her father as an attorney for 5 years while focusing her practice on estate planning before joining a large downtown Cleveland law firm. Julie returned to her private practice in 2007 which she continued until merging her practice with Ziegler Metzger. Julie continues to maintain a close connection with her father who practices in Willoughby Hills.
