Gary M. Ferman, a native New Yorker has resided in London, England since 1978. Before obtaining his law degree from Harvard Law School, Mr. Ferman was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree (with great distinction) from the University of California, Berkley and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and International Law from the University of Sussex, Brighton, England. Mr. Ferman was admitted to the New York bar in 1973 and subsequently to the Federal Bar. Mr. Ferman has been an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Notre Dame University Law School, London as well as an Adjunct Lecturer in Law at the United States International University - Europe in London.
Mr. Ferman is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association in England. He is an active member of the British American Business Inc. and serves on its taxation committee. He is an affiliate member of the Law Society and sits on the executive committee of the Society of English and American Lawyers.
Mr. Ferman writes a monthly column on legal matters and immigration issues for the local expatriate community in England and London independent newspapers under the byline "Only in America". His articles on immigration and other legal topics also appeared in "Going USA" and Network New York, London. He has been an American Legal Affairs Commentator in England for the BBC and Channel 5 television as well as Talk Radio. Mr. Ferman's is the author of, "Acquisition Strategy: Legal Aspects" in Corporate Investments and Acquisitions by Foreign Companies in the USA.
