I received my Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and my Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Prior to entering the practice of law, I served as an artillery officer in the United States Army and bring with me a proven reputation of ethical leadership.

As an attorney I have a conviction that the vocation of law is a calling from God. With God's calling comes the responsibility and stewardship of integrating Christian faith and law. As a Christian lawyer, I recognize the privilege and responsibility of providing legal counseling consistent with scripture. I further believe that my practice of law should be in pursuit of the truth so that my clients will have a clear conscience in all that they do in the Alaskan legal system.

I represent a broad range of clients and understand that no two situations are exactly the same. However, in all my cases I try to work with my clients in order to not only obtain the most favorable decision, but also to ensure to the greatest extent possible that the final resolution occurs in a timely manner and will last. It is my commitment to provide creative solutions, responsive service, and cost effective legal representation.

Since opening my own law office in Anchorage, Alaska, I have focused on practicing Family Law, Probate and Estate Planning. My family law practice areas include divorce, modifications, custody, adoptions, child support and visitation. I also focus on probate, wills, powers of attorney, directive to physicians (living will), trusts as well as general estate planning.

I offer the services of Christian Mediation so that clients can resolve issues consistent with 1st Corinthians Chapter 6:1-6 and Matthew 18:15-17. People do have legitimate disagreements and both parties can have very valid reasons for their contentions and claims. The goal of mediation is to facilitate a meeting of the minds resulting in an agreement based on Scriptural principles and the rule of law.

I enjoy helping my clients with their legal issues. I understand that it is difficult to work through the court system in domestic issues and therefore it is my goal that both my client's and their children make it through the litigation in one piece and ready to start a new future. Similarly, with my probate and estate planning clients, I work to make sure they have peace of mind with their end of life planning as well as handling their loved one's estate through the probate process.
