Joseph Conahan is a counsel in the Corporate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2004.

Practice

Mr. Conahan’s practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and financing transactions, as well as on counseling public company clients on ongoing corporate legal matters, including federal securities reporting requirements and corporate governance issues.

Practice Highlights

Mr. Conahan has worked on teams that have represented:

• Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in its 3(a)(9) debt exchange;
• a diversified manufacturing company in the formation of a joint venture with combined revenues in excess of $1 billion and in several acquisitions of private company targets;
• Constant Contact, Inc. in its acquisitions of Nutshell Mail, Inc. and the assets of Bantam Networks, LLC; and
• a private company client in its debt financing and related dividend recapitalization.
