Colucci, Darin Michael

Carlos Marcelo Colombo is one of the founding partners of CHB and leads the firm's immigration practice group. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Colombo is fluent in Spanish and has extensive knowledge of Italian and Portuguese. Mr. Colombo obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and his law degree from Emory University School of Law.

Mr. Colombo's immigration practice includes business-related matters, with an emphasis on corporate transfers, professionals in various fields, entrepreneurs and investors. He also routinely handles family immigration, including spousal petitions, fiancee petitions and other family-based visas. Mr. Colombo as has nearly a decade of experience in business litigation in the state and federal courts. His practice includes the representation of technology companies, software manufacturers, trusts and estates, banks and other financial institutions and real estate companies. Mr. Colombo has litigated matters in various fields, including breach of contract, intellectual property matters (domain name, trademark and copyright infringement actions), the internet, trade secrets, and domestic and international software cases. In addition, he has handled insurance-related claims, including large commercial representation of clients over coverage disputes and matters involving large commercial losses. Mr. Colombo possesses extensive knowledge in disputes concerning corporate mergers and acquisitions, breach of real estate contracts, foreclosures leases, banking law, employment law, non-compete agreements, as well as construction law.

Mr. Colombo is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. In addition, Mr. Colombo is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Legal Advisor for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, and has served as President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. Mr. Colombo is regularly invited to conduct seminars and produce publications in Immigration law.
