Kathy Collier is a Partner in the Birmingham office and has over 25 years of experience as a public finance attorney. She has served as bond counsel and counsel to borrowers, issuers, trustees, lenders, banks, and underwriters or placement agents in a variety of public finance transactions. She has handled the issuance of notes by corporations, conduit financings through governmental authorities for both for-profit and non-profit entities, and credit-enhanced transactions. She also has worked on the formation of governmental authorities and various acquisition transactions involving health care facilities. Kathy also has experience serving as company and trustee counsel in connection with various types of investment agreements and as company counsel and provider counsel in various interest rate swap transactions.
